Fitness Together Holdings Inc. Announces Aggressive Brazil Expansion

Prominent U.S. Personal Training Franchise to Fill Demand for One-on-One and Small Group Fitness

November 09, 2011 // Franchising.com // Highlands Ranch, Colo.– As a leader in the U.S. personal training sector, Fitness Together is poised to fill the growing demand in Brazil for one-on-one and small group personal training, featuring state-of-the-art fitness techniques that keep workouts challenging and dynamic. The Colorado-based company plans to open 60 units in Brazil over the next five years and 124 over the next 10 years.

Fitness Together currently has a presence in five countries outside of the U.S. including Brazil, Costa Rica, Israel, Ireland, and Canada. In comparing results for first year of operations, the company’s seven Brazil locations performed better in their first year of operations than all other international Fitness Together franchises.

The Brazil expansion will be led by developers Cassiano Ximenes, Newton Jose Soares Cabalieri, and Ranata Cabalier. They have a proven track record of building and sustaining franchises in the Brazilian fitness industrywith over 90 units and a solid support staff.

According to the IHRSA, Brazil is the second largest worldwide fitness market with over 18,000 clubs, as measured by number of clubs. With the upcoming 13th Annual IHRSA Latin American conference in 2012, the Olympic Games and the FIFA World Cup over the next couple of years, Fitness Together looks to capitalize on the country’s growing interest in sports and fitness.
