(NYSE: RSH), a leading national retailer of innovative mobile and personal technology products, services and accessories, has launched a Mobile Product Support service available at no cost to customers who purchase mobile devices, including tablets, in-store at any of RadioShack's 4,500 U.S. retail locations.
Starting today, in an effort to provide an industry-leading mobility customer experience, all purchases of mobile devices will include free specialist support, whereby customers will have the ability to connect 24 hours a day with specially trained Wireless Specialists via phone, live chat, email, or in online forums. In addition, a proprietary Mobile Product Support application is available for download in the Android Marketplace. An application for iOS devices is planned for release in early 2012.

Customers are automatically enrolled at no charge in Mobile Product Support during the purchase process. In addition to Mobile Product Support, all in-store purchases, including contract and no-contract cell phones, also now include a free transfer of contacts, applications and data from their existing to new device.
Immediately after purchase, RadioShack customers will have access to specialist support, which is staffed with a U.S.-based team of experts who are specially trained in the entire range of mobile devices offered at RadioShack stores. This specialist team can answer customers' questions via phone, chat and email, and even has the ability to access a customer's malfunctioning smartphone remotely to solve technical issues.
Online tools at www.RadioShack.com/MobileProductSupport will offer customers personalized access to device simulators, online forums and how-to guides, which will be updated in real-time based on customer feedback to the wireless specialists. RadioShack associates will also be given access to a set of online education tools, allowing them to stay up-to-date on the latest mobility products and trends.
