Teddy Bear Donations to Comfort Children in Need
November 18, 2011 // Franchising.com // DALLAS, Texas – Motel 6, known for providing guests with a clean, comfortable room and great service for the lowest price of any national chain, will help bring comfort to children experiencing stressful or traumatic situations with the fourth annual Great Teddy Bear Roundup. New teddy bears can be donated at any participating Motel 6 in the U.S. and Canada now through Dec. 8 and will be delivered to local law enforcement agencies, fire departments, hospitals and Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC) that will utilize the teddy bears to soothe children in need.
During the Great Teddy Bear Roundup, Motel 6 collects new, small to medium-sized teddy bears on behalf of each location’s local service agencies. As a supporter of Ronald McDonald House Charities, Motel 6 has included RMHC as a beneficiary of the Great Teddy Bear Roundup in 2011, assisting locally in their mission to improve the lives, health and well-being of children.
