New My Favorite Muffin(R) Breaks Grand Opening Record
DEERFIELD, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BAB, Inc. (OTCBB: BABB) announced that its first My Favorite Muffin Your All-Day Bakery Café® in Missouri, located in Maryville at 1107 S. Main Street, has singled itself out within BAB’s franchise system once again. The café held its Grand Opening event on Friday-Saturday, November 18-19, 2011 and customer response was so strong that the sales total for these two days exceeded those of any previous BAB Grand Opening. Previously reported about this location: It is the first BAB franchise to cobrand with Kaleidoscoops® hand-dipped premium ice cream. It is estimated that during the two-day event close to 2000 people visited the new Maryville location of My Favorite Muffin to enjoy its vast assortment of gourmet muffins and mouth-watering frozen treats. According to BAB franchisee Greg Chapman, who owns and operates the café, along with participation from the whole family, “We have been overwhelmed by the response we have gotten from the community. Our initial goal was simply to bring a friendly, locally-owned business to Maryville. It’s quite extraordinary that customers are coming in and actually thanking us for being here. We intend to do all we can to live up to the appreciation they have shown.”
