Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers is Opening a Second Location in Charlotte, North Carolina, on Dec. 12th.

December 07, 2011 // Franchising.com // Charlotte, N.C. - Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers is proud to announce their newest opening in the Ballantyne Village, in Charlotte, N.C., on Monday, December 12th. This Mellow, which marks the second location for Charlotte, is located at 14835 Ballantyne Village Way, Suite 150, at the intersection of Ballantyne Parkway and Johnston Road.

Owners, Jeffrey Small, Steven Small, Mark Kieffer, Nabil Boutros and John Fiske are excited about their second location in the city. “We feel that the Ballantyne area is a vibrant, growing area that we need to get into, while being a great fit for Mellow Mushroom,” states Marc.

The menu features a variety of pizzas, hoagies, salads, calzones and appetizers, only using the highest quality ingredients. Options for vegetarians, vegans, kids, and those on a gluten-free plan are also available.

Each Mellow is designed in a unique art-filled environment. Marc describes, “We developed an original take on a “Magic Carpet Ride” theme, while implementing magic carpets, a 16 foot mushroom and a giant one-of-a-kind hookah.” Suiting every diner’s needs, this Mellow will have plenty of seats inside, along with 80 seats on the seasonal patio.

This location features a full service bar with a wide array of liquor, craft beer and wine options. Join the Mellow Mushroom Beer Club and make your way through all 100 beers, while receiving member-only rewards along the way. Throughout the week, you can catch trivia nights, live music and sporting events on a 106’’ big screen.
