Northern Virginia Real Estate Company is First to Host New Home Builder Expo

RE/MAX Select Properties, Inc., a Northern Virginia Real Estate Company Creates One-Stop-Shopping for Local Real Estate Agents and Potential Buyers

Ashburn, VA (PRWEB) December 09, 2011 - RE/MAX Select Properties, a Northern Virginia Real Estate Company, hosted a New Home Builder Expo last week that drew in a variety of members from the local real estate community and gave 16 local builders the opportunity to showcase new communities in the area.

“Not only does this event introduce builders to new home buyers, but it also serves as a great networking event between home buyers and real estate agents,” said Jim Stakem, Broker/Co-Owner. “It is a great way for the builders to market their business to a number of potential consumers in the area and for agents to become aware of the changes in the community.”

Over 150 agents and potential home buyers enjoyed a light happy hour while browsing the builder line-up, which included companies such as Ryan Homes, Stanley Martin Homes, M/I Homes, Brookfield Homes, Ryland Homes and several more. Ronni Ackermann with Consumers First Settlements handed out free canvas bags to all attendees, while several of the builders raffled off gift cards and various other prizes.

Sales Manager, Becky Thorpe of Stanley Martin Homes stated, “The turn-out was terrific and it gave builder’s an excellent opportunity to let Realtors know what we have available. I was glad to see that the general public took advantage of attending as well. This forum made it convenient for them to collect information on new neighborhoods featured in Loudoun County and surrounding areas. Stanley Martin Homes looks forward to participating again in the Spring!”
