Smashburger Arrives In Kennesaw, Georgia

ATLANTA - Smashburger, the nation’s fastest growing “better burger” restaurant, will open its fourth Atlanta-area location on Wednesday, November 30, 2011. The restaurant will open at 440 Ernest W. Barrett Parkway in Kennesaw. This is the fourth of 20 plus Atlanta-area Smashburger locations that local franchisee Phil Wilkins is slated to open over the next seven years. Atlanta’s first Smashburger store is located at 2625 Piedmont Road NE; the second store is in Johns Creek at 9775 Medlock Bridge Road; and the third location is in Alpharetta at 5530 Windward Parkway.

Atlanta-area Smashburger restaurants feature a regional menu specifically created with Southern flavors and tastes in mind. Kennesaw guests can enjoy the signature Atlanta Smashburger, which features 100 percent Certified Angus Beef, peach BBQ sauce, Wicked® Pimena cheese, grilled jalapeños and Vidalia coleslaw on an egg bun or the Atlanta Smashdog, topped with Wicked® Pimena cheese, grilled jalapeños and Vidalia coleslaw.

At Smashburger the secret is in the smash. It starts with 100 percent—fresh, never frozen, Certified Angus Beef that is smashed on a 400 degree flat grill to sear in the juicy flavor. To further the “better burger” experience, the juicy burger is served on a butter toasted artisan bun and topped with a selection of the freshest produce, real cheeses and the highest-quality condiments.

Smashburger is known for its delicious burgers, but customers can also enjoy a selection of tender marinated grilled or crispy chicken sandwiches, grilled and split hot dogs, and fresh tossed signature salads, along with a variety of irresistible sides including rosemary and garlic–seasoned Smashfries, fried pickles, Haystack Onions and Veggie Frites (flash-fried and seasoned asparagus spears, carrot sticks and green beans). The restaurant will also serve a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including local beers, wine, hand-spun Häagen-Dazs® shakes and IBC root-beer floats in frosted mugs.
