Beef 'O' Brady's to Celebrate Bowl Game Sponsorship with Fans

Family-Friendly Restaurant Chain Hosts National ‘Watch Party’ for Beef 'O' Brady's Bowl

December 13, 2011 // Franchising.com // TAMPA, FL – Family sports pub restaurant, Beef 'O' Brady's, always makes a huge deal about the big game – whether it’s sponsoring youth sports teams or broadcasting an abundant amount of games on its big-screen TVs. So it comes with little surprise that in honor of the now-annual Beef 'O' Brady's Bowl surfacing in St. Petersburg FL., the restaurant franchise will take spectator sports to an entire new level, treating guests to exciting deals, giveaways and family fun.

On December 20, 2011 from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. EST, all 213 restaurants will host a Beef 'O' Brady's Bowl Watch Party. The bowl game, now in its fourth year of existence, will pit the Marshall Thundering Herd against the FIU Panthers. Each restaurant will offer food and drink specials and will feature fun giveaways such as bazzo balloons, eye blacks, beads, foam fingers, etc. The game will be televised live on ESPN.

“We take pride in knowing that families across the country have shared many of their favorite sports memories at our restaurants, so we’re honored to share our new tradition with the fans who made us famous,” said Chris Elliott, CEO of Beef 'O' Brady's. “The Beef 'O' Brady's Bowl Watch Parties will bring families and communities together in a holiday atmosphere, and at the end of the day, that’s what we’re all about.”

In addition to the intriguing deals and giveaways, each Beef 'O' Brady's will treat its first 75 customers to a ‘Mystery Card’ consisting of prizes that range from free legendary wings to free drinks and notable coupons. To redeem the prizes and keep the mystery alive, winners must bring their cards back to their favorite Beef 'O' Brady's restaurant unopened any Wednesday in January 2012.

In April 2011, Tampa-based Beef 'O' Brady's signed a three-year agreement with ESPN Regional Television to continue on as the title sponsor for the Beef 'O' Brady's Bowl at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg. The 2010 Beef 'O' Brady's Bowl between the Louisville Cardinals and the Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles captured the highest television ratings (2.6) in the short history of the bowl.
