Local Gold's Gyms Offer Complimentary Memberships to Gwinnett County Teachers This Holiday

Local fitness centers spread holiday cheer with no-cost workout option for area teachers

December 14, 2011 // Franchising.com // LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – This holiday season, Gwinnett County, Ga. teachers are invited to stop by nearby Gold’s Gym locations to work out without sweating the cost of a gym membership. From December 17 – January 1, Gold’s Gym will offer area teachers a free membership to its Lawrenceville, Peachtree Corners, Hamilton Mill and Suwanee locations.

“When teachers are not in school they may not have the equipment and resources needed to continue their commitment to exercise and lead healthy lifestyles,” said Adam Ponzio, co-owner of the Gold’s Gym locations in Lawrenceville, Peachtree Corners and Hamilton Mill. “We wanted to provide area teachers extra incentive and the tools necessary to combat a sedentary lifestyle that may occur over the holiday season. We wanted to say thanks for their dedication to teaching our youth and could not think of a better way to do so than by offering complimentary memberships over the winter break.”

As part of the promotion, local teachers can take advantage of each gym’s amenities including: complimentary child care, group fitness classes, cardio cinemas and basketball courts, among others.
