December 19, 2011 // Franchising.com // Children of America is expanding, once again, with the opening of the new Orland Park school in Illinois. Located in City Place in the highly trafficked LaGrange area, the new location is expected to flourish in the surrounding community. "The new Orland Park location joins five other locations in the state of Illinois," said Thad Pryor, Children of America President and CEO. "We are excited about increasing our IL family with this new school and look forward to bringing our innovative approach to educational childcare to the children and families in LaGrange."
The 10,266-square-foot Orland Park facility is located a safe distance from the main road, bordering a residential neighborhood in the highly commercial area of LaGrange, allowing for easy access for those working and living in the community. As always, this school will be outfitted with COA City Place, a playroom designed to expand each child's imagination and is used when the weather is not conducive for outside play.
"We are committed to the well being of all children in this community and look forward to partnering with their parents to provide quality childcare that will ignite a passion for learning, engage their minds and support their development," said Jim Perretty, Vice President and COO of Children of America. "Children will enjoy the safe, fun environment and will excel in our stimulating play-oriented programs."
The new center is equipped with state-of-the-art security systems and also utilizes additional safeguarding measures such as assigning each child a Personal Identification Number (PIN) that signals their arrival and departure and an Internet access program, AlwaysCloseBy.com which allows parents to check-in on their children throughout the day via streaming video of the classrooms and play areas.
