Steamatic’s Growth Explodes; U.S. and International Franchises Added

New Franchises Added in Fort Worth, TX and Newport Beach, CA Steamatic’s Expanded Coverage in Australia Covers 62% of the Country’s Population

December 20, 2011 // Franchising.com // Fort Worth, Texas - Steamatic, Inc., the industry leader in cleaning and restoration services in more than 500 franchise territories in the United States and in 25 countries around the world, is experiencing huge gains in domestic and international growth withfranchises opening in Fort Worth, Texas and Newport Beach, California, as well as France, Australia and Canada.

Steamatic of Greater Fort Worth opened November 2011, offering full service total cleaning and restoration services. General Manager SteveWillis has more than 18 years’ experience in cleaning, restoration and Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) industry, with extensive knowledge of sales and operations. Steve’s industry certifications include NADCA’s Air System Cleaning Specialist and ACAC’s Certified Indoor Air Quality Manager, and he is a licensed HVAC mechanical contractor. Steve is active in several industry associations and is a nationally recognized speaker and trainer.

Scheduled to open in early 2012 is Steamatic of Newport Beach, a restoration-only franchise owned by Jim McCaa and his son, Seth McCaa. Seth’s experience includes working in the emergency restoration industry as a project manager for a competitor. Previously, Jim held an executive level position with Nestle Waters of North America. Together, they bring professional knowledge, ability and expertise to the Steamatic franchise organization.

Internationally, new and/or expanded franchises include the following:

• Arnaud Hanquez, the master franchise owner of BMS Technologies of France, has six sub-franchises in Lille/Harnes/Reims, Brest, Nantes and Oriean. The Oriean franchise is a new sub-franchise.
• In Ballina New South Wales, Australia, owner Bruce Harris will open Steamatic’s newest sub-franchise in January 2012. In Brisbane Queensland, Australia, Steamatic of Australia’s company-owned franchise opened Nov. 1, 2011 with a dedicated factory of 18,000 sq. ft.
• Richard Zysk and Shawn Milne, who have between them 30 years’ cumulative experience in the restoration industry – opened the Steamatic of Calgary sub-franchise in 2011. A full-service cleaning and restoration company targeting commercial and restoration, this sub-franchise is supported by a national IICRC (Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification) master water tech, master fire and smoke restorer.

“In Australia alone, we now cover a territory that serves 62% of the country’s population,” said Sims. “Of course, that’s significant because we can provide cleaning, restoration and related services to so many people. Second, the opening of Steamatic of Australia’s location in Brisbane paves the way to franchise the regional centres throughout Queensland.”
