Inspirational Keynote Wraps up Last Day Aboard Celebrity Eclipse

December 22, 2011 // Franchising.com // Miami, FL.- During Expedia CruiseShipCenters’ National Conference’s concluding keynote, Dondra Ritzenthaler, Senior Vice President, Sales for Celebrity Cruises, delivered a compelling presentation about the necessity of Finishing Strong in both personal and professional arenas. She challenged the audience to follow three steps necessary to Finish Strong: “The first key is believing in yourself and having confidence. The second indicated how you have a choice to overcome objections and adversity. The third, and most important key, concerns your actions; whatever you do...just don’t be normal!”

This year’s conference aboard Celebrity Eclipse was Expedia CruiseShipCenters’ most outstanding National Conference in attendance and performance. Expedia CruiseShipCenters’ Franchise Partners, Cruise Consultants and Corporate Support Staff, as well as cruise line representatives from all major lines were in attendance and had the opportunity to partake in presentations, roundtable discussions and engage in various networking opportunities.

Matthew Eichhorst, President of Expedia CruiseShipCenters kicked off the conference by reflecting on past goals and looking to the future by outlining the 5 year plan. “As we look toward our 25th year we will have attained our sales goal, an achievement that would not be possible without the combined efforts of our Franchise Partners, Cruise Consultants, Preferred Suppliers and Corporate Support Team.”

Each of the onboard sessions touched on the conference theme, Plan the Dream, Work the Plan, which allowed the attendees to “Finish Strong” and walk away with a solid focus. Geraldine Ree, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing encouraged attendees to utilize the resources at their fingertips and be proactive in attaining their goals.

“As you continue to Plan Your Dream we urge you to use the tools you have learnt this week and to continue the communication flows between yourself and those you have met aboard National Conference. Along the way, we are here to help you achieve your goals and Work Your Plan.” Ree said.

Between the presentations, workshops, roundtable forums and networking, conference goers had plenty of time to enjoy the free days in San Juan, St. Maarten and St. Kitts.
