Faegre Baker Daniels Attorneys Named to 2012 Illinois Super Lawyers

January 04, 2012 // Franchising.com // CHICAGO - Four Faegre Baker Daniels LLP partners have been selected for inclusion in the 2012 edition of Illinois Super Lawyers. They are:

David M. Allen in business litigation
Edward C. Fitzpatrick in banking
Kurt Stitcher in white collar criminal defense
David L. Weinstein in employment and labor

Two other Illinois attorneys at Faegre Baker Daniels, which opened its Chicago office in 2008, were named "Rising Stars"—Samuel A. Lichtenfeld and Rachel T. Nguyen, both in business litigation. "Rising Stars" recognizes the top up-and-coming lawyers who are 40 years old or younger or who have been practicing law for 10 years or less.

The objective of Super Lawyers is to create a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of outstanding attorneys that can be used as a resource to assist attorneys and consumers in the search for legal counsel. Super Lawyers magazine is published in all 50 states, reaching more than 13 million readers.

Only five percent of Illinois attorneys are chosen for the honor each year. Super Lawyers provides a rating service of outstanding lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The selection process is multi-phased, including independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations.

The 2012 list will appear in Illinois Super Lawyers magazine, which will be mailed to attorneys throughout the state and American Bar Association-accredited law school libraries. Selected attorneys also will appear in a special advertising section in the February issue of Chicago magazine.
