January 10, 2012 // Franchising.com // MISSION VIEJO, Calif. – Small business financing has been a continuing struggle for those looking to open a business; however, TeamLogic IT, a leading national provider of comprehensive computer-based services for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), is changing all of that by offering to finance 50 percent of the initial franchise fee for qualified, prospective franchisees.
Beginning January 2012, qualified prospective franchisees have the option to finance half of the $40,000 franchise fee. As another advantage to new franchisees, TeamLogic IT will not require payment on the borrowed amount for the first 12 months. After one year, the balance will accrue at a very low 3 percent interest rate over the next 48 months.
Nearly a year after President Obama’s Small Business Jobs Act added $30 billion to the small business lending fund, a recent survey of International Franchise Association (IFA) members showed that almost half of the respondents identified “financing/access to credit” as the number one issue of concern to franchise business leaders.
“The tight U.S credit market has made it difficult for potential entrepreneurs to raise the funds they need to open a business,” said Chuck Lennon, president of TeamLogic IT. “Our new financing option addresses this issue, allowing us to help entrepreneurs fulfill their dreams of owning their own franchise.”
Allowing SMBs to have the support of an in-house information technology (IT) department at a considerably lower cost, TeamLogic IT is well-poised for today’s economic environment. The computer services company specializes in a consultative approach to managing IT allowing its customers to run their business while TeamLogic IT manages their IT. Ideal franchisees are not computer technicians but individuals with business experience and strong communication and management skills.
TeamLogic IT’s new financing program is one of two major initiatives designed to help the company achieve its aggressive growth plans throughout the United States in 2012. The second initiative is a veteran’s program that waives the franchise fee for up to 10 qualified military veterans. As a member of the IFA VetFran Program, TeamLogic IT is offering this incentive to potential franchisees between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2012.
