KidzArt Franchise Enters Philippine Marketplace

Leading Art Franchise Organization Continues International Growth in Response to Demand for Educational Art Classes.

Jackson, MI (PRWEB) January 16, 2012 - Celebrating Filipino creativity through art, drawing and imagination is one of the goals of the newest international KidzArt franchise. KidzArt has added the Philippines to its list of worldwide marketplaces and new franchise partners. Local residents, Olive and Greg Villacorta are the owners of the new KidzArt studioin Mandaluyong City.

KidzArt offers a unique art and drawing curriculum for all ages, from preschoolers to adults. Art classes are kept small, usually around 12 to 15 enrollees, to maximize the amount of attention paid to each student. The program teaches how to express and gain greater self-confidence through drawing. Absolutely no prior arts training experience is necessary to participate.

"I saw a great opportunity in bringing KidzArt's art education to our children because no other local children's art establishments focus on drawing," says Olive Villacorta, executive director. "It is an important skill to learn because it impacts many aspects of a child’s life such as confidence, concentration and creative thinking."

Villacorta believes that KidzArt will be a success in the Philippines because of Filipinos' artistic nature and their love of self-expression and all things visual and imaginative. Her goal is for all students to have a fun learning experience as they explore art.

“Although KidzArt programs are based in drawing, we provide a fine arts experience that builds creative thinkers and problem solvers,” says Sue Bartman, CEO of KidzArt. "We're pleased to bring KidzArt to the Philippines to allow children to explore, express and be motivated by their artwork in a noncompetitive environment."

Villacorta wants KidzArt to be the first choice destination for children looking for quality after school activities. Studio classes are available for preschool through teenage children Monday through Saturday. KidzArt will also be partnering with local school districts and community resource centers.

In addition to after-school art programs, KidzArt will provide art birthday parties, workshops and art camps for students during school vacations and the summer break.
