Bojangles' Seasons Mealtimes in Columbus

Columbus, Miss. - Jan. 11, 2012— BO-J of MS, LLC is satisfying Columbus’ craving for Bojangles’ Famous Chicken ‘n Biscuits with the opening of its newest location at 1612 Highway 45 North in Columbus on January 10, 2012. Situated on the front parcel of the Leigh Mall, this marks the second Bojangles’ location to open in Mississippi and the second restaurant under the BO-J of MS, LLC ownership group, comprised of Bill & Pat Cunningham and their daughter, Stefanie Douglas.

“We are thrilled to open a new Bojangles’ restaurant in Columbus and serve residents of the local community a delicious, satisfying meal,” said Bill Cunningham, president of BO-J of MS, LLC. “Bojangles’ is sure to impress new and longtime fans of the brand and we look forward to offering the most flavorful chicken and biscuits in town.”

The new Bojangles’ location opens after a complete renovation of the existing building during the past year. The new Bojangles’ features drive-thru and in-store dining beginning with breakfast and continuing through dinner late into the evening. Spanning more than 2,900 square feet, the new restaurant seats up to 80 guests and offers free Wi-Fi as well as two, 42” flat screen televisions. The interior and exterior have been built according to Bojangles’ updated design standards which features a southern traditional landscape. The brand’s new prototype store includes a shift towards fast casual dining, blending quick service with a casual dining atmosphere. Plus, at the drive-thru, Bojangles’ is setting the industry standard, turning orders routinely in less than a minute.

“We want Bojangles’ to be a social hub for the local community where guests feel right at home,” Bill added. “We are always trying to exceed expectations.”

Beyond service touches, Bojangles’ attracts customers with its proprietary, made-from-scratch fare offering a flavor profile unlike anything in the market. Meal options are available all day, including breakfast at all hours. More than 45 local residents are employed at the new Columbus restaurant.

Bill and Pat Cunningham have more than 37 years of experience in the food business. Their company plans include opening additional restaurants in the coming years in towns such as Meridian and Tupelo, Mississippi.
