Northern Virginia Real Estate Company Teams up with Top Producer to Host Social Media Seminar

RE/MAX Select Properties, a Northern Virginia Real Estate Company, recently co-hosted a Social Media Seminar with Top Producer in their Ashburn Training Center.

Ashburn, VA (PRWEB) January 24, 2012 - RE/MAX Select Properties, a Northern Virginia Real Estate Company, prides itself on staying up to date with the latest technologies. The company recently switched to Google Business Apps and teamed up with Top Producer to host a Social Media Seminar for local real estate agents.

RE/MAX Select Properties Operations Manger, JJ Stakem said, “Driving leads through social media has become a critical component of our business environment.” He went on to say, “Social media is constantly changing, having this type of training allows our agents to remain the most competitive in the area.”

Bruce Craig of Top Producer, taught agents how to maximize their online presence through various social media forums. He also discussed a series of social media management systems, which save users time and money. The group seemed to most enjoy his tips and tricks to generating free leads through systems in which most agents are already using.

Craig said, “I think social media is a required part of an agent’s workday. Every agent needs to have their own Facebook Business page. With over 33% of all Internet traffic being on Facebook, I truly believe that it is vital that you be conducting business on Facebook.” He went on to say, “There are various ways to find free leads and low cost leads on Facebook. The agents that are putting these practices to everyday use are the ones that have success with social media.”
