January 25, 2012 // Franchising.com // KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Kevin Oldham has been recognized as a 2012 Rising Star by KC Business magazine. The third annual program honors outstanding Kansas City leaders under the age of 40 in both for-profit companies and not-for-profit organizations.
An independent panel of area business and civic leaders selected the exclusive group based on dedication, personal growth, hard work and community involvement. Oldham was one of just 34 to be honored.
Oldham, vice president of United Country Marketing Services (a wholly-owned subsidiary of United Country Real Estate, Inc.), is a 16-year veteran of the Kansas City marketing community. He co-founded United Country Marketing Services and has grown it into one of the nation’s largest real estate focused marketing companies. Prior to joining United Country, Oldham launched Thirdrail, a regional real estate advertising agency, with Kansas City entrepreneur Dennis Gray. Oldham started his career with J.D. Reece (now Reece & Nichols) and managed national product launches and branding campaigns for five years at AMC Entertainment. He earned his MBA from Baker University in 2007.
