February 01, 2012 // Franchising.com // Las Vegas – Each year, ActionCOACH honors some of its top coaches with an ActionMAN Award. This award is given to coaches who embody the 14 Points of Culture developed by ActionCOACH. At this year’s Americas Conference held at the Hilton Memphis, in Memphis, Tennessee, Bill Gilliland of Staunton, Virginia was one of the winners.
The Founder and Chairman of ActionCOACH, Brad Sugars, presented Gilliland with the ActionMAN Award.
“Like many of our coaches, Bill has a love for his community that makes him the perfect person to help businesses grow more profitable and hire more workers. I’m very proud to honor his work with this award,” Sugars said.
As an ActionCOACH Business Coach, Gilliland is part of a system designed to help owners of small and medium sized businesses grow their business while finding more time to enjoy life. In turn, that coaching leads to stronger businesses, a stronger local economy and more people with quality jobs.
“I want to thank everyone who helped me win this award,” Gilliland said. “I’m an ActionCOACH because I get to give back to my community every day and I hope that in the years to come I can continue to give back.”
