BlueGrace® Logistics Sponsors UFC® Fighters in February 4 Matchup

Freight and Logistics Concept Emphasizes Unique Corporate Culture with Continued Support of MMA Fighters

February 02, 2012 // Franchising.com // TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa’s BlueGrace Logistics’ involvement in sponsoring MMA fighters for Ultimate Fighting Championship® (UFC) bouts continues with sponsorships of four contenders in matchups this weekend. BlueGrace is supporting main event fighters Carlos “Natural Born Killer” Condit and Roy “Big Country” Nelson as well as preliminary card event contenders Max Holloway and Michael Kuiper. The packed-card event will take place Saturday, February 4 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.

Carlos Condit will take on Nick Diaz in a much anticipated interim welterweight championship bout after Diaz’s original opponent, Georges St. Pierre, was forced to bow out of the contest due to injury. Roy Nelson, who is coming off of a win over Mirko Cro Cop, will face off with Fabricio Werdum in a heavyweight matchup. New to the UFC, Max Holloway will take on Dustin Poirier in a featherweight bout while Michael Kuiper, also a UFC newcomer, will face Rafael Natal in a middleweight division matchup.

“We sponsor these tremendous athletes because they exemplify passion, determination and success,” said BlueGrace President and CEO Bobby Harris. “We’ve sponsored Carlos and Roy in the past, and were thrilled to welcome Max and Michael to the BlueGrace family.”

MMA is one of the fastest growing sports today and BlueGrace has a number of customers across the nation who are fanatics, as well as corporate employees who enjoy the sport. MMA stars such as Carlos Condit and Thiago Alves often visit the BlueGrace headquarters for career fairs and onsite broadcast interviews on WTAN Sports Radio, providing a level of engagement for customers who frequently visit the headquarters as well. In addition, many of the fighters are highly engaged with social media, using forums such as Twitter as an opportunity to connect with the BlueGrace team and generate excitement about both brands.

BlueGrace Logistics is one of the fastest growing and most progressive providers of transportation, logistics and technology solutions to businesses and individuals nationwide, serving more than 2,500 customers in 60 cities.
