Teriyaki Experience Announces Plan to Open a Location in the Atlanta International Airport

February 02, 2012 // Franchising.com // ATLANTA, Ga.– Teriyaki Experience, the international leader in Japanese QSR is pleased to announce a partnership with Global Concessions Inc. of Atlanta, Georgia that will see the development of a Teriyaki Experience location in the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The new location is scheduled to open in late 2012 or early 2013 in the main terminal of the airport and will offer travelers the full Teriyaki Experience menu plus hot breakfast options.

Global Concessions, Inc. (GCI) is a multi-concept operator of food and beverage concessions at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The GCI brand portfolio includes numerous franchises, including Ben & Jerry’s, Great Wraps, Nathan’s Famous and Arthur Treacher’s Fish & Chips, as well as several original concepts – Sweet Georgia’s Juke Joint, Sojourners Café and One Flew South.

Teriyaki Experience offers guests the option of cooking their meals with their signature Asian cooking sauce for a more flavourful experience or with water to minimize the fat and calorie content for a more healthy option. Using the teppanyaki griddle each meal is prepared fast and fresh in less than 3 minutes. The menu features a selection of rice and noodle meals, soups, salad and sushi. Most menu items have less than 10 grams of fat and contain less than 600 calories.

Teriyaki Experience’s other Atlanta location is at The District at Howell Mill, a unique property that incorporates both retail and residential living. Additionally, the concept has airport locations in Kuwait and Tocumen, Panama.
