Memphis, Tenn., February 3, 2012 – Memphis-based ServiceMaster Co., one of the world’s largest residential and commercial service companies, announced today that it plans to hire approximately 6,700 new and seasonal field employees nationwide over the next several months as it readies for its peak season. This includes the more than 700 new to the company jobs ServiceMaster has already announced this month.
Positions available include corporate support and management, inside sales, general sales and receivables. The bulk of the seasonal positions will be in field operations and customer call centers for its leading brands of Terminix, TruGreen, and American Home Shield. Field operation staff positions are located throughout the United States in local communities, while positions in customer call centers are based in Dallas, Memphis, Atlanta, Carroll, Iowa and a new call center in Tampa Bay.
In 2011, almost 400,000 individuals applied for employment with ServiceMaster through its corporate branch locations.
