Child's Wish for New Puppy Granted at Petland Plano, TX

(Plano, TX: February 13, 2012) – Petland of Plano is honored to help grant the wish of 8-year-old Ella Jade Dreamer from Rockwall, Texas.

Ella has been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive cancer called Adrenalcorticolcarcinoma. She has been receiving treatments at St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis and the family recently moved to Texas.

Brian and Lisa Abair, owners of Petland Plano will be presenting Ella with a Rottweiler puppy, all of the supplies needed to care for the puppy, and a year’s worth of dog food on Monday, February 27th at 5 p.m. at the Petland store on Coit Road. Dr. Benjamin, of the Ohio Drive Animal Hospital will also be providing two years worth of veterinary service.

“Ella said she is excited to have a new best friend and hopes his love will help her live longer,” said Ella’s mother, J.D.

“We are grateful for this opportunity to help make Ella’s wish come true,” said Lisa Abair. “At Petland, we believe that pets truly do make life better. We hope that Ella and her new best friend will enjoy a great deal of happiness and fun together.”
