AmericInn® Announces A Second Contemporary New Construction Hotel

Minneapolis, MN (Feb. 23, 2012)– AmericInn®, one of the nation’s leading midscale hotel companies, today announced that construction has begun on a contemporary new hotel in Osage, Iowa, the latest new construction development for this expanding national brand. The new AmericInn Osage is located at 2212 Highway 218.

The new hotel (see image as property will appear upon completion: AmericInn Osage) is scheduled to open in June, 2012 and is being developed by long-term AmericInn franchisee, Apollo Development, LLC of Minnetonka, MN. Apollo is also building a new AmericInn prototype in Fairfield, Iowa, scheduled to open in March, 2012 and has previously developed five AmericInn properties located in Illinois, Nebraska and Iowa. The AmericInn Osage will be managed by Three Rivers Hospitality, the hotel property management arm of AmericInn, headquartered in Chanhassen, MN.

The new hotel will feature an indoor pool, meeting room, Connect@AmericInn® business station and 43 spacious guest rooms and suites offering contemporary furnishings and amenities including flat screen televisions and AmericInn Perfect Sleepers® by Serta. The new room design also incorporates a “welcome wall” that adds visual interest upon arrival, providing an innovative angled entry, shelving and convenient outlets for electronic devices and a dedicated coffee station.

Public spaces will include a social, open lobby design to foster guest interaction, a communal connectivity table complimented by lounge seating and free wireless Internet. Guests will also enjoy the brand’s signature AmericInn Perk® breakfast featuring a variety of free home-style, hot & healthy breakfast selections and a 24-hour coffee bar.

The AmericInn Osage will serve the surrounding community and its businesses including Fox River Mills and Valent BioSciences Corporation which is constructing a new $150 million facility in Osage.
