Planet Fitness Now Open In Kansas City, MO

Bringing the Judgment Free Zone to Kansas City Missouri.

Kansas City, MO (PRWEB) March 03, 2012 - PFKCMO, a new missouri-based franchise has signed a development deal to bring 13 stores over the next several years to Clay, Jackson, and Cass counties. The first location opened February 17th, 2012.

Planet Fitness is the Judgment Free Zone and does not cater to body builders or power lifters. Most Planet Fitness members are first time gym users.

Tiernie Darr, Regional General Manager of Planet Fitness Kansas City, says the model is perfect for today’s fitness needs. “There are only 2 levels of membership, starting at $10.00 a month with no contracts or commitments. Everyone now has an opportunity to get healthy without the intimidation or intense sales pressure found at other gyms.”

Location #1 opened Friday, February 17th, in Kansas City Mo at 8720 E 63rd St. {next to Price Chopper}. The club features over 80 pieces of cardio equipment. Every cardio machine is equipped with an entertainment system which allows you to watch any of the 20 55” high definition televisions. The club also features strength machines, a 30 minute express circuit, a 12 minute ab circuit, tanning booths, massage chairs, and full locker rooms. Free fitness instruction is also available.
