March 08, 2012 // Franchising.com // TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa’s BlueGrace® Logistics continues its involvement in sponsoring MMA fighters with ongoing support of world-class MMA fighter Pat ‘Paddy Mike’ Curran for his upcoming bout against Bellator® World Featherweight Champion Joe Warren, live from The Venue at The Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, Indiana on Friday, March 9.
Curran is the first fighter to win tournaments in two weight classes in the Bellator Fighting Championships®, the largest tournament-based MMA organization in the world. He won the Season 2 lightweight tournament with a split decision over Toby Imada at Bellator 21, and in 2011, Curran captured the Featherweight Summer Series after defeating Luis Palomino, Ronnie Mann and Marlon Sandro. Now, Curran will get his World title shot as the Bellator Fighting Championships® kicks off their Season 6 this Friday.
“We are particularly excited to support Pat, who happens to be cousins with Jeff Curran, another fantastic MMA fighter that we have sponsored. Both fighters exemplify many of the attributes integral to our success in the transportation logistics business, including superb preparation, a can-do positive attitude and a mindset to never accept defeat,” said BlueGrace CEO and President Bobby Harris. “Pat has an incredible challenge in this up-coming fight and we look forward to having him bring home the championship belt.”
