Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers Opens in Addison March 8

ADDISON, Texas (March 8, 2012) – Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers celebrated the grand opening of the chain’s newest North Texas location in Addison today with a series of grand opening festivities attended by Addison Mayor Todd Meier, members of the Addison City Council and local Chamber of Commerce representatives.

Upon opening the doors to its first Addison location, the chicken finger chain gave its first 100 dine-in customers a Raising Cane’s commemorative T-shirt and Box Combo meal voucher. The grand opening also kicked off the restaurant’s Give Back Giveaway promotion, where guests can register to win $1,000 to be donated to the local charity of his/her choice, in addition to receiving Free Cane’s for a Year.

“Addison is a lively area with a strong sense of community,” said Anders Grove, general manager. “We’re excited to introduce Raising Cane’s to Addison and couldn’t be happier with the warm reception we’ve received from our neighbors.”

As part of Raising Cane’s’ long-standing tradition of participating in a community service project prior to a new restaurant opening, Grove and his Addison crew members volunteered on Friday, March 2 with the Arbor Foundation of Addison Community Garden Project. The group of Raising Cane’s employees spread a semi-trailer load of decomposed granite throughout the Addison Community Garden helping to put the finishing touches on this peaceful addition to the community.

Additionally, Raising Cane’s recently presented the SPCA of Texas with a donation of $3,216, the amount of proceeds raised from the sale of the 2011 “Cane” holiday plush puppy at DFW Raising Cane’s locations.

The new Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers is located at 4100 Beltline Road near Sam’s Club. The restaurant will be open Sunday through Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Friday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 1 a.m.

With the opening of this location, Raising Canes has 121 restaurants representing 16 states. In Texas, there are 28 Raising Cane’s restaurants, with now 16 locations in DFW.

For the fifth consecutive year, Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers was recently honored as one of the top quick-service restaurant chains in the country for customer satisfaction according to Sandelman & Associates’ Quick-Track study released earlier this month. The chain placed second for best overall service among 150 restaurants studied and was the highest-rated restaurant company for temperature of food, accuracy in filling orders, and cleanliness of restaurants.

The company has ONE LOVE® – quality chicken finger meals – and an expanding fan base of “Caniacs” devoted to the company’s signature fresh-never-frozen chicken fingers and popular secret sauce. With a consistent brand focus on its ONE LOVE, customer service and on supporting the communities in which it serves, Raising Cane’s has earned its place as a front-runner in the competitive quick service restaurant segment.
