Two New Egg-Shaped Doughnuts Now Available at Participating Krispy Kreme Locations

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C., March 14, 2012 // PRNewswire // -- Krispy Kreme® is bringing you two delicious, new egg-shaped treats to celebrate the Blu-ray™ and DVD release of Universal Pictures' Easter-themed family comedy HOP, from the creators of Despicable Me. The new Sprinkled Chocolate Iced Egg with KREME™ Filling and Drizzled Iced Egg with Chocolate KREME™ Filling Doughnuts are available now through April 8th at participating Krispy Kreme U.S. and Canada locations.

"We've captured the delightfulness of this hilarious hit family comedy in two great-tasting, egg-shaped treats," explains Ron Rupocinski, Krispy Kreme Corporate Chef. "They're a fun and colorful way for your family to celebrate the arrival of spring and the Blu-ray™ and DVD release of HOP."

The Hunt Is Over! Fill your baskets with these two new tasty treats at participating Krispy Kreme shops and participating Walmart locations:

• Sprinkled Chocolate Iced Egg with KREME Filling- A chocolate iced, egg-shaped doughnut featuring spring-themed sprinkles and KREME filling.
• Drizzled Iced Egg with Chocolate KREME Filling- An egg-shaped doughnut topped with orange icing and drizzled with blue and green icing.
