Branded Hub Hosts Integrated System of IDX-driven Local Websites to Keep Brokers at Center of Search

PARSIPPANY, N.J. (March 16, 2012) – ERA Real Estate, a leading global real estate franchisor, today previewed the new platform for its brokers and agents at the ERA®2012 International Business Conference in New Orleans, LA. The new site, which is scheduled to go live in May 2012, personifies the franchise system's broker-centric philosophy by delivering an IDX-based Web solution that allows brokers to maintain control of their listings.At a time when the industry is acutely focused on listing distribution, ERA Real Estate has reaffirmed its commitment to helping build business at the local level.

"Search needs to be local and this solution puts the broker, not a brand or a third party aggregator, at the center of the transaction and at the center of online search. Our IDX web solution maintains the integrity of listings by complying with local MLS display rules and funnels leads directly to our brokers' listing agents. The seamless search functionality, which is tied directly to MLS listings through the IDX feed, allows users to find all listings in a local market with a single click. With more than 90 percent of ERA® brokers participating in IDX, the new website puts the local brokers' listings front and center.

The hub, powered by, provides a fully branded entry point for consumer search while directing searches, traffic and leads locally onto ERA brokers' satellite websites. Each broker's satellite website is provided by ERA Real Estate at no additional cost as a fully branded site with customization options.
