NaturaLawn of America, Inc. is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a “silver” reminder of how its green longevity began in 1987. NaturaLawn of America’s Founder and President Philip Catron’s qualifications as a board-certified agronomist enabled him to develop the nation’s first natural and organic-based lawn care company with a unique and proprietary line of products.

Catron credits his staff and 60-plus franchisees across the United States for their efforts in distinguishing NaturaLawn of America throughout the past 25 years and the business continues to be the “ground-breaking” leader in the green industry.

Milestones were reached in the 1990s when NaturaLawn was the only lawn care company invited to testify before the U.S. Congressional hearing for the Subcommittee on Regulatory Reform and Oversight of Committee on Small Business in the U.S. House of Representatives.

NaturaLawn was also a contributing author in helping the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency write the handbook on Integrated Pest Management (IPM) for lawn care and signed a contract to provide the first professional playing field to go organic in the nation with safer turf care at Memorial Stadium for the then-Baltimore Stallions in Baltimore, Md.
