BIGGBY Bob Pays Visit To Plymouth To Buy Your Coffee

“Spot Bob” on Thursday, April 12 for a free drink at BIGGBY – located in the Plymouth Super Center

March 29, 2012 // Franchising.com // PLYMOUTH, Mich. – BIGGBY COFFEE fanatics in Plymouth, MI can get a free drink of their choice during the latest Spot BIGGBY Bob event on Thursday, April 12th from 8-10a.m. BIGGBY CEO and co-founder, Bob Fish, will visit the store located at 400 W. Ann Arbor Rd., to meet BIGGBY customers and pick up the tab!

During these two hours only, any drink on the menu, in any size, is fair game and the store will also offer special discounts on travel mugs and tasty treats to go along with your morning coffee! For store owner, Drew Wolford, having Bob at his store just expands on the fun and happiness he strives to create for his customers each and every day.

“Bob is like a local celebrity and having him here will be a great experience for our store and most importantly, our customers,” Wolford said. “Getting a free drink can instantly brighten someone’s day and we hope to have our customers come out in full force to make this event larger than ever before.”

Spot BIGGBY Bob events began in 2008 and have led Fish to a wide variety of stores throughout the Midwest and beyond. At each BIGGBY he visits, Bob said what’s most important to him is getting the chance to meet those that have made BIGGBY into the company it is today – the customers!

“We always say that BIGGBY has the best customers in the world, but sometimes that is put on the back burner when it comes to the daily tasks of running a business,” Fish said. “These events allow me to go into different communities to talk to customers one-on-one and experience the BIGGBY culture that has developed in their area.

The store will also offer special “I Spotted Bob” coupons, rewarding customers with $1 off a Grande or Super specialty beverage on their next visit!

“The word is spreading around town and we cannot wait to show Bob the awesome BIGGBY fans we have here in Plymouth,” Wolford said. “We’re going to have a great time and are looking forward to seeing everyone here for their free drink.”

About BIGGBY COFFEE®

East Lansing, Mich.-based BIGGBY® COFFEE opened a single store in March of 1995 based on the founding principle that coffee-lovers and the coffee-curious alike would benefit from a less pretentious approach to the standard gourmet café paradigm. BIGGBY COFFEE introduced connoisseur-worthy drinks with pronounceable names like Teddy Bear and Caramel Marvel, and barista staff surprised guests with simple gestures like free kazoos and bouncy balls for no other reason than to brighten their day. The “Big ‘B’” on the orange background caught on, and today BIGGBY COFFEE has 144 cafes open or under contract across seven states including: Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, South Carolina, Wisconsin and Texas.
