Tampa, Fla. (PRWEB) April 02, 2012 - BalanceDiet™ Company is pleased to announce Felicia Sanders as the Senior Vice President of the fast-growing chain of diet and wellness centers. In her new role, Sanders will help the brand expand regionally by ensuring that the location and management of BalanceDiet retail stores, called “BalanceDiet™ Clubs” by the company, mirrors the strategic retail vision of the company.
Sanders brings more than 20 years of direct membership, wellness, and fitness industry experience to BalanceDiet, having worked in operations and training management, franchise development, new business startups, and direct sales. Before joining BalanceDiet Company, she previously served as Vice President of Operations for Diversified Health and Fitness Franchise Corporation as well as Director of Training and Development and Pre-Sale Director for Lady of America Franchise Corporation.
Sanders began her career in the fitness industry as manager of a women’s health club, and quickly advanced to supervisor of eight locations in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. After opening and operating her own health clubs, she parlayed her experience into executive management positions with Lady of America, where she helped launch 300 new locations while also overseeing training and development for more than 1,000 retail health club centers.
“Felicia has a proven track record of managing and growing health and fitness franchises, and her background is an excellent fit for our planned expansion of the BalanceDiet brand. The Board and I are pleased to welcome her to the team, and we look forward to working together to achieve new levels of success,” said BalanceDiet founder and CEO Christopher Palumbo.
Sanders credits BalanceDiet’s growth plan and Palumbo’s vision as the key factors behind her decision to join the company. “It’s exciting to be part of this dynamic, fast-growing industry, and I’m inspired by what Chris and his team have already accomplished with the brand,” she explained. “BalanceDiet is a true innovator in the marketplace. Its weight-loss centers go beyond diet and fitness, with a focus on helping clients achieve overall wellness and a better quality of life. It’s not just about losing weight; it’s about genuine transformation and a healthier lifestyle.”
The appointment of Sanders to the BalanceDiet team follows the company’s recent announcement of its acquisition of the Results Weight Loss chain and affiliated 1-800-Weight-Loss brand in Florida. Sanders will support Palumbo and his executive management team as they continue to relocate and re-invent the former Results Weight Loss locations and prepare for the launch of additional signature BalanceDiet retail outlets both within Tampa, the United States, and abroad. The company is also collaborating with a popular healthy fast-food chain in Tampa Bay to open co-branded retail locations.
BalanceDiet operates a chain of stylish, contemporary weight-loss centers as well as its popular “BalanceDiet At Home” offering. The brand’s portfolio of services includes highly acclaimed product lines, custom meal planning, nutrition, and diet coaching; a robust online diet program; expert advice and tips; and related retail products that are available online, through direct home delivery, and via a wide network of storefront locations.
