Amos to be recognized at 2012 Business Leader of the Year Awards Dinner

Amos Jr., CFE, chairman and CEO of Tasti D-Lite and Planet Smoothie, will be honored with the Nashville Business Leader Legend Award at the 2012 Business Leader of the Year Awards Dinner at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at the Brentwood Country Club.

The Business Leader of the Year Awards Dinner is held to recognize and honor the best and brightest business men and women in Nashville and its surrounding areas. This year, 30 talented, successful honorees will be recognized as exceptional leaders in their business category.

The Nashville Business Leader Legend Award will be the highlight of the ceremony. Amos is being honored with this prestigious award for his exceptional leadership as the former CEO of Mail Boxes Etc. and as the current CEO of Tasti D-Lite and Planet Smoothie. Amos has been a leader in both business and civic endeavors. He was also inducted into the International Franchise Association (IFA) Hall of Fame this past February at the association’s annual convention.
