New Big Apple Bagels Delivery Program Launches in Kalamazoo, Michigan

DEERFIELD, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BAB, Inc. (OTCBB: BABB) announced that its three Big Apple Bagels franchise locations currently operating in the Kalamazoo, Michigan market area have just introduced a new delivery program for breakfast and lunch orders. A fourth Kalamazoo location, due to open the week of April 16th will also be participating in the program.

BAB Franchisees Jason and Rachel Boussom and Doug and Lisa Victoria comprise two separate franchisees but they have collaborated to provide customers with a centralized phone number at which to call and be directed to the nearest location, which then takes and fills the order. Says franchisee Jason Boussom, “Our customers have hectic schedules, as we all do, and we are excited to be able to deliver our quality products to their homes and offices for breakfast or lunch.”

Although other BAB restaurants accept delivery orders, they do so on an individual operator basis with their regular menu offering, which may differ somewhat from other BAB franchises in terms of selection and price. The Kalamazoo franchisees have developed a delivery menu that is consistent in selection and price regardless of which franchise location handles the order.

Advertising for the new service will feature the centralized phone number and the franchisees are hopeful that this will convey the message to customers that the Big Apple Bagels program is an efficient and professionally run delivery option that is well suited to compete with other restaurants in the delivery business.

BAB, Inc. operates, franchises and licenses Big Apple Bagels ®, My Favorite Muffin®, Jacobs Bros. Bagels ® and Brewster’s® Coffee. The Company’s stock is traded on the OTCBB under the symbol BABB.
