Doctors Express Selects DocuTAP’s Electronic Medical Records and Practice Management Software for New and Existing Urgent Care Centers

With plans for 80 new urgent care centers by 2013, Doctors Express turns to DocuTAP’s solution to ensure consistency in EMR and PM during growth and expansion.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--DocuTAP, a provider of electronic medical records (EMR) and practice management (PM) software, today announced a partnership with Doctors Express, a nationwide urgent care franchise.

Doctors Express was the first ever national urgent care franchise and currently operates over 50 clinics in the US, with more than 80 additional centers expected to launch by the end of 2013. Doctors Express plans on installing DocuTAP’s EMR and practice management software in all of the new urgent care centers, as well as converting most of its existing centers. Implementing DocuTAP, an urgent care-specific EMR, will create a common and familiar experience in each Doctors Express location, and will serve to tie all of the centers together for regional and corporate reporting.
