Free Coffee on Earth Day at All Good Earths

Free Coffee at All Good Earth Locations on Earth Day with a Donation to the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC)

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - April 17, 2012) - Good Earth Coffeehouse and Bakery, an environmentally responsible chain of specialty coffeehouses, is gearing up for an ambitious Earth Day promotion that will put a free cup of coffee or tea in the hands of thousands of people, while attempting to raise thousands of dollars for the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC). Throughout the month of April, customers of Good Earth can make a donation to NCC at any Good Earth coffeehouse. People making their donations on April 22 (Earth Day) and April 23, will receive a free cup of coffee or tea, as a "Thank You" for sharing Earth Day with Good Earth and NCC.

"We celebrate Earth Day every year by inviting our customers to join us in supporting important environmental initiatives" says Nan Eskenazi, Co-Founder, Good Earth Coffeehouse and Bakery. "This year we are honored to be supporting the Nature Conservancy of Canada, who is working to protect valuable natural areas throughout Canada. We encourage everyone to come in and make a donation to NCC.

Other activities taking place include:

• During the month of April, customers are encouraged to "like us" on Facebook, post their environmental pledge for 2012 and they will be entered to win 1 of 3 gift baskets with goodies from Good Earth, Rocky Mountain Soap and Bullfrog Power.
• On April 22 (Earth Day) and April 23rd - Good Earth locations will give a free cup of coffee or tea for every customer's donation to NCC. Customers are encouraged to bring in their travel mugs.
• Good Earth is issuing a corporate challenge: Any company that donates over $1000 to the corporate challenge during the month of April will be entered to win a catered lunch for 20 people, courtesy of Good Earth. Make the cheque out to the Nature Conservancy of Canada and send them to Good Earth Corporate (4020 - 7th Street SE, Calgary, AB T2G 2Y8)
