The Joint Corp. Announces Regional Developer For Inland Empire, California

16 Clinics are Scheduled to Open

April 17, 2012 // Franchising.com // Scottsdale, Arizona - The Joint Corp., a leading franchisor of chiropractic clinics, announced today the awarding of the Inland Empire, California region to Ms. Christina Ybañez for the development of 16 clinics in the area.

A genuine self-starter and equipped with an entrepreneurial spirit, Ybañez became familiar with chiropractic care after suffering from severe back pain. “After spending thousands of dollars on traditional medicine to try to alleviate the insufferable pain I was in, I reached out to chiropractic care as a last resort. Since then I fully realized how beneficial and important routine chiropractic care is,” said Ybañez, a business graduate from the University of Texas at El Paso. “You shouldn’t have to wait to get hurt to see a chiropractor, from experience I have realized should be part of your health and wellness plan.”

From this first hand experience, Ms. Ybañez knew the moment she was presented with The Joint’s business model that this was the business she wanted to pursue. “When I learned of the simple affordability and convenience of The Joint model, I knew I wanted to help others who could not afford routine chiropractic care. Not to mention the ability to stop by an ultra-modern-looking office and not having to wait hours on end to see someone,” added Ybañez. “Add to that no insurance hassles and the concept is the direction that health care is going.”

In addition, Ms.Ybañez has also been awarded eight additional clinics in the Las Vegas, Nevada region. A meticulous team player who prides herself on integrity, honesty and loyalty, Ybañez is excited to get The Joints up and running in her areas.

“Christina will be a real asset to The Joint family as she is a tireless worker who will continually strive to provide the ultimate chiropractic care experience for the customer,” said John Leonesio, CEO of The Joint and founder and former CEO of Massage Envy.

“I had heard of the phenomenal success of the Massage Envy brand and I sincerely feel The Joint concept will follow right along and be as successful, if not more so, than Massage Envy. John Leonesio has an uncanny ability to get to the nuts and bolts of what the consumer needs and more importantly, what they can afford,” said Ybañez.

An industry leader in health, wellness and franchising Leonesio is a staunch advocate of chiropractic care. "Making the benefits of quality chiropractic care both extremely affordable and convenient to the millions of Americans who need it can't happen fast enough. Our standardized clinic model is ideal for brand awareness and rapid growth through franchising. We believe it will set a new benchmark in the industry for clients and for Chiropractors who will both benefit from its ability to deliver the highest standard of care simply and inexpensively.”
