TGA Premier Youth Tennis Launches 12 New Franchises in First Three Months

Youth Sports Firm Growing Tennis in Partnership with the Usta Through Business Ownership Opportunities Nationwide

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) April 19, 2012 - It has only been three months since TGA Premier Youth Tennis (TGA) launched its new youth sports franchise business and partnership with the USTA, and already the company has 12 new Premier Youth Tennis franchises across the country.

The new franchise territories include Rockland County, NY; Bergen County, Essex County and Morris County, NJ; Los Angeles, Beach Cities, West Valley, Peninsula Valley and Placer County, CA; West Wake County, NC; Denver, CO; and Hamilton and Boone County, IN. Six additional franchises are also scheduled to open in the next few months.

“To be able to launch this new franchise opportunity and have this many franchises come on board so quickly is a testament to the top-notch program we’ve put together with the United States Tennis Association and the successful business model our team has developed at TGA,” said Steve Tanner, chief operating officer of TGA. “We are thrilled to be able to offer another youth based sports program that enriches kids’ lives while creating business ownership and job opportunities within the industry.”

TGA began awarding franchises for its newly minted Premier Youth Tennis business in January 2012, which was modeled after its successful eight-year-old TGA Premier Junior Golf program. The golf program is in more than 2,500 schools, reaching upwards of 177,000 students in 23 states.

In partnership with the United States Tennis Association (USTA), youngsters will be introduced to tennis at elementary and middle schools, child care centers and community based organizations through TGA’s multi-level enrichment program. The goal is to transition the students from schools to partner tennis facilities and local USTA youth initiatives nationwide.

The TGA/USTA partnership aligns with USTA’s youth initiative, “10 and Under Tennis,” geared towards getting more children to participate in tennis using modified equipment and courts tailored to their size and ages. The partnership has developed specific curriculums for grades K – 3 and 4 – 8, designed to enrich young people’s lives through physical fitness, health and nutrition, education and character building.

Similar to its popular golf business, TGA’s Premier Youth Tennis franchise is geared toward motivated self-starters who are passionate about the sport, their community and enjoy working with children. Each franchise offers not only business ownership and job opportunities in the industry, but also a unique way to grow the sport.
