Weichert Remains a Strong Supporter of Morris Habitat for Humanity

April 20, 2012 // Franchising.com // The Weichert Family of Companies recently announced its ongoing support for Morris Habitat for Humanity. Through its most recent sponsorship, the company will fund two housing units on Lake Lenore Road in Denville. Construction will begin late this year with completion expected in late 2014. In addition, Weichert will sponsor two homes that will be built in La Ceiba, Honduras, by Morris Habitat’s overseas partner.

“Habitat for Humanity is an outstanding organization that shares our vision of helping families achieve the dream of homeownership and all the personal, social and emotional benefits that accompany it,” said Jacelyn Botti, head of residential sales for Weichert, Realtors. “We are excited to continue our relationship with Habitat for Humanity as we work together to help deserving families in Morris County."

In line with the company’s goal of helping to provide the dream of homeownership, Weichert has provided ongoing support to Habitat for Humanity in its efforts to build safe and affordable housing for underserved families in Morris County. Most recently, the company sponsored a duplex home on Willow Street in Morristown that was completed in November 2010. In recognition of the financial generosity and support it provided through that sponsorship, Weichert was honored by Morris Habitat for Humanity with its Corporate Partnership Award in 2010.

Blair Schleicher Bravo, executive director of Morris Habitat says, “Over the past few years, Weichert has been an important local supporter, and we are delighted that they have decided to expand the scope of their commitment. We are especially pleased that a portion of Weichert’s most recent sponsorship will go to our ‘sister’ affiliate to build homes in La Ceiba, Honduras. With Weichert’s continued cooperation, we can achieve our goal of helping families in need of safe, secure and affordable housing."
