bd’s Mongolian Grill Promotes Brad Russell to Position of Director of Marketing

April 26, 2012 // Franchising.com // DETROIT – bd’s Mongolian Grill, the popular create your own stir fry restaurant chain where guests “rule the experience,” today announced the promotion of Brad Russell to Director of Marketing. Russell will continue to report to bd’s Mongolian Grill President and COO Joe Phraner.

Russell has been with the company for 10 years serving in key marketing roles, most recently as Senior Marketing Manager. Russell is responsible for developing and leading the execution of bd’s marketing and advertising strategies to grow sales, traffic, and profitability for the franchisee community and corporate restaurants.

“Brad’s dedication and passion for the brand is apparent to all of us and he will continue to play a vital role in spearheading our marketing strategies,” said Joe Phraner, President and COO of bd’s Mongolian Grill. “He is a strong leader and we look forward to his continued contributions.”

Prior to joining bd’s, Russell worked for three years at Franco Public Relations in Detroit. Russell holds a B.A. in Advertising from Michigan State University.
