Jamba Juice Supports A Healthy, Active Summer With Refreshing New Beverages

A summer favorite returns for a limited time - Fruit Refreshers with coconut water, now in a new flavor, Watermelon Splash™ -  plus an expanded Make It Light™ menu of Classic Smoothies, as well as fresh squeezed juices and juice blends.

EMERYVILLE, Calif., May 22, 2012 // PRNewswire // -- Jamba Juice Company (NASDAQ: JMBA), a leading healthy, active lifestyle brand, brings healthy refreshment to summer by providing a variety of better-for-you beverages, including the return of a summer favorite, Fruit Refreshers. Jamba's Fruit Refreshers, made with coconut water and whole fruit, are refreshing, icy cold beverages that deliver the natural hydration benefits of coconut water with essential electrolytes. They are an excellent source of Vitamin C and provide a great way to quench thirst and help with hydration on hot summer days.

In addition to being healthy, nutritious and hydrating, these 16-ounce Fruit Refreshers are 230 calories or less and contain as much potassium as a banana. They are gluten-free, vegetarian and contain no high fructose corn syrup, artificial flavors or artificial preservatives. The Jamba® Fruit Refreshers come in three flavors: Strawberry Lemonade, Tropical Mango and the newest flavor, Watermelon Splash™.

This summer, Jamba Juice® is also expanding their Make It Light™ smoothie line. All 10 of the Jamba classic smoothies will now have the option to be made light, giving customers additional great-tasting and lower calorie options from which to choose. The Make It Light™ versions of the classic smoothies contain 1/3 fewer calories, sugars and carbohydrates. They are made with whole fruit, fruit juice, and provide 1 to 2 servings of fruit in every 16-ounce size.
