Led Source® 2012 Training Conference for Franchisees a Success

The First and Only Franchisor of LED Lighting in North America Celebrates Strong Growth, Prepares For Future at Company Conference

May 25, 2012 // Franchising.com // Orlando, FL - LED Source® franchisees from all over the U.S. and Canada gathered together last week for the company’s 2012 Training Conference, held May 17-19 in Orlando. More than 40 LED Source franchise owners, vendors and corporate staff members attended the first-ever training conference led by president and CEO Marcel Fairbairn. The event presented an opportunity for franchisees to network, share ideas and get equipped with the necessary tools to improve business operations and boost sales.

“In the LED business, we are one of the few companies to have cracked the code on successfully offering retrofit solutions, and the goal of the conference was to pass that insight to our franchisees and their employees,” Fairbairn said. “Using manufacturer demonstrations, vendor and executive presentations, and providing education on our brand new selling system, franchisees were treated to an event unlike any other.”

With 2012 halfway through, Fairbairn updated the LED Source community on the year’s highlights thus far. Some of the exciting milestones of 2012 include the official launch of LouMan Money®, a private-labeled finance program, and the debut of the LED Source National Accounts Program. This year LED Source expanded internally with the addition of corporate team member Josh Tolford, the new vice president of finance who brings 20 years of financial leadership experience to the company. LED Source also recently broke ground on its new 16,000-square-foot facility, which will open this fall as the only all-LED commercial building in Wellington, Fla.

“Learning about plans for expansion and growth during the conference made me feel great about the future of being an LED Source franchise owner,” said Robb Gardner, owner of LED Source of Calgary. “In addition, we have great product lines, reliable back-up personnel and a finance program that is more like a weapon than a tool—we are very fortunate to be a part of this fantastic team.”

In addition to the 10 franchise owners currently based in the U.S. and two in Canada, LED Source is poised to embrace the widespread adoption of energy-efficient lighting solutions with plans to sign 20 new franchise agreements this year and focus on development in Vancouver, New York, San Francisco and other states. Within the next three years, 150 LED Source franchise offices are expected to open across North America.

Prospective franchisees are invited to attend a webinar on the LED Source Franchise Opportunity on either Tuesday May 29 from 5:00pm to 6:00pm EDT or Wednesday May 30 from 10:00am to 11:00pm EDT  Go to (https://www3.gotomeeting.com/register/325440086) to register.
