Visitors who ‘like’ the new Days Inn Canada Facebook page will have access to Canadian-specific travel tips, discounts, and contests like the current “I Love Canada” promotion created by Clearview Digital Marketing. In addition to the Grand Prize of a 7-night trip for two to either Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Montreal or Halifax (including hotel, airfare and $500 in spending money), the contest will also award four weekly prizes and 30 daily prizes to participants who correctly answer fun Canadian-oriented multiple choice trivia questions.
“Canadians are proud of our great country, so naturally we wanted to challenge them with a contest that draws upon their national pride and knowledge,” says Kenney. “This is a fun way to interact with our guests, and we’re looking forward to awarding 35 exciting getaway packages.”
