Tasti D-Lite Named 2012 Military Friendly Franchise by G.I. Jobs Magazine

May 29, 2012 // Franchising.com // Franklin, TN - Tasti D-Lite announces it was ranked in the top 10 percent of all franchises nationwide and named a 2012 Military Friendly Franchise® by G.I. Jobs Magazine.

The soft serve frozen dessert company draws customers with a great-tasting frozen treat with less fat than ice cream and less sugar than frozen yogurt and currently has three veteran-owned franchises. Tasti D-Lite honors military veterans all year round by offering service members a 25 percent discount off the franchise fee, allowing veterans to use their training and operational skills in a new civilian career.

“I attribute my own successes to my military experience,” said Tasti D-Lite owner Jim Amos, a former Marine Corps captain and veteran of two combat tours in Vietnam. “The leadership, responsibility and integrity that I instill in my own work are based in the military, and with former military franchise owners, I know they work with those same values.”

Jobs. “Being selected as a Military Friendly Franchise places Tasti D-Lite in this elite group, and is testimony to Tasti D-Lite’s world class programs and policies that support military veterans interested franchise opportunities.”
