Paul Davis Teams Up to Support MaliVai Washington Kids Foundation

May 31, 2012 // Franchising.com // Jacksonville, FL - Highlighting the importance of academics and physical fitness in youth, Paul Davis Restoration, Inc., a national franchise company and leading provider of water damage cleanup and fire damage restoration services for residential and commercial properties is pleased to announce its support of the MaliVai Washington Kids Foundation, founded by former tennis professional MaliVai Washington. The Foundation is located at 1096 West 6th Street in Jacksonville.

Paul Davis has pledged to support the foundation by paying for the cost of sponsoring a child and the equivalent of one week paid time off to spend time with the child on assigned days for any employee that volunteers for the program. The many Paul Davis employees who are volunteering love it and say they receive more than they give.

“MaliVai Washington has taken his championship spirit from the tennis courts at Wimbledon and works tirelessly to instill this same spirit into the hearts and minds of countless Jacksonville area youth,” said Scott Baker, CEO of Paul Davis Restoration, Inc. “Paul Davis has a long history of community involvement where we work and live, and we are pleased to support Mal and all the wonderful children involved in his foundation.”

Baker further commented that given all the uncertainty facing young people today, it’s important that they establish a solid foundation both mentally and physically early in life. According to Baker, Mal Washington’s foundation has an impressive record of accomplishment through the efforts of Mal and his staff as well as a significant number of community volunteers. He encourages all businesses in the Jacksonville community to get involved with the foundation.
