Biggby Coffee’s “Mint Chip Creme Freeze” Coming Back by Popular Demand

Cool down this summer with a new, improved, Biggby customer favorite!

EAST LANSING, Mich., May 30, 2012 – After more than a three year hiatus, BIGGBY fans everywhere are rejoicing as the infamously tasty Mint Chip Creme Freeze returns for a limited time only at Biggby Coffee stores franchise-wide!

Available starting July 1, the Mint Chip Creme Freeze is perfect for the summer months and is made with a combination of refreshingly delicious, minty goodness and rich, creamy, chocolate, blended together with savory chocolate chips and topped with fluffy whipped cream. A drink, BIGGBY CEO and co-founder, Bob Fish, said is not only perfect for all ages and can be described as, “Better without the cone”.

“What’s more appealing in the summertime than visiting your favorite ice cream shop and cooling off with an all-time favorite flavor like mint-chocolate?” Fish said. “With the Mint Chip Creme Freeze, we have recreated that experience and mouth-watering flavor the Biggby Coffee way.”

In a mission to enhancing the drink’s original recipe, Fish set out in search of the perfect mint and chocolate combination and teamed with Ohio-based, Phillips Gourmet Syrup Corporation, to start from scratch and create a “BIGGBY Bob taste-tested approved” mint and chocolate blend all their own.

“When this drink first appeared on our menu, we receive great feedback from our customers about how much they loved it,” Fish said. “Even since then, we have been flooded with request to bring it back, and now we are happy to serve an even more delicious, better than ever, Mint Chip Creme Freeze! More than anything, we are excited to watch our customer’s fall in love with it all over again.”
