The Frosty Root Beer Float, which is available at all 16 Handles locations throughout June, is a creamy blend of vanilla frozen yogurt with the full-bodied taste of classic root beer soda. The company’s innovation team, led by Head Chef Robynne Maii, suggests pairing the new frozen yogurt flavor with Vanilla Clodhoppers, crunchy graham cracker chunks covered in smooth vanilla fudge.

“America’s love for root beer floats inspired us to develop our own frozen yogurt version that tastes just as good as the original recipe we all drank growing up,” states Solomon Choi, the founder of 16 Handles. “Reinventing this nostalgic summertime beverage into a soft-serve indulgence is our way of surprising and delighting our customers with better-for-you old-fashioned flavors.”

One (1/2 cup) serving of Frosty Root Beer Float has 112 calories, zero grams of fat, and it boasts 7 types of probiotics, naturally found in yogurt.

Frosty Root Beer Float is the newest addition to 16 Handles’ ever-rotating flavor list; every store features 16 different yogurt varieties, on tap, every day. 16 Handles will continue to introduce new flavors each month in tandem with their new chef-inspired menu program that launched in April 2012 with the release of the limited edition topping, Smoked Almond Brittle.
