Tasti D-Lite Launches Strawberry Summertime
Frozen Dessert Chain to Feature Strawberry Tart ‘n Tasti for Limited Time
June 11, 2012 // Franchising.com // Franklin, Tenn. - Tasti D-Lite, the great-tasting, lower-calorie frozen dessert chain with a fanatical following among health-conscious consumers as well as celebrities, will introduce a new flavor as part of their “Strawberry Summertime” promotion. Strawberry Tart ‘n Tasti will be available June 11 through July 22. Strawberry Summertime will also highlight Tasti D-Lite’s existing strawberry flavors including strawberry, strawberry banana, strawberry cheesecake, strawberry colada and strawberry shortcake.
“Strawberry is such a great flavor for summer and so many people are looking for a great strawberry frozen dessert to cool off during the warm months,” said Donna Smith, vice president of marketing. “Our new strawberry Tart ‘n Tasti is a unique flavor that fits perfectly with summer. We think customers will really enjoy the tart flavor of frozen yogurt combined with the sweet flavor of strawberries.”
The strawberry Tart ‘n Tasti has 90 calories and 1 gram of fat per 4 fl. oz. serving, making it a great alternative to typical ice cream offerings which contain an average of 253 calories and 16 grams of fat per similar serving size.
