Window Genie Giving Back to the Communities They Service

Window Genie launched their charitable initiative, Windows 4 Wishes, in January.

Cincinnati, OH (PRWEB) June 12, 2012 - Window Genie launched their charitable initiative, Windows 4 Wishes, in January. Since then, 15 franchise owners have decided to give back to their local communities by either donating, volunteering, offering free services or promoting the charity or organization of their choice.

Window Genie is the Cincinnati based franchisor of home services known to “Clean Windows and a Whole Lot More!” Doing a whole lot more now includes giving back to the community through the new program, Windows 4 Wishes. There are four ways in which a franchisee can give back to the charity or organization of his/her choice:

  • Service: To offer free Window Genie services such as window cleaning, window tinting or pressure washing to the charity/organization of choice.
  • Donate: To donate goods or money to the charity or organization of choice.
  • Promote: To publicly endorse and campaign for the name and mission of the charity/organization of choice.
  • Volunteer: The franchise partner may choose to give time by himself or with current employees on behalf of WG, towards assisting and improving to the betterment of the charity/organization of choice.

There are currently over 100 locally owned and operated Window Genie units throughout the United States. The goal for the Windows 4 Wishes program is that Window Genie will be able to give back on a national level as well as to every community in which these franchises operate.

Window Genie experienced tremendous growth, adding nine team members to corporate and 20 new franchises nationwide in 2011. Subsequently, Window Genie was named 41st fastest growing franchise system in Entrepreneur Magazine; showing anticipation for further expansion and growth in 2012. Thus far in 2012 Window Genie has added 10 new team members, three of which are regional developers, or master franchisees. With roots down in a growing number of major cities across the United States, Window Genie is focused on making an impact on those communities by giving back. The culture of Window Genie is meant to reflect the system as a whole. In addition to their focus on marketing, branding, professionalism and customer satisfaction, Window Genie strives to uphold community service as a foundational pillar in their bottom line.

Founder and CEO of Window Genie, Richard Nonelle, was hopeful and enthusiastic about the debut of the give-back program back in January. He said, “I am so excited to roll out this new program and I anticipate tremendous participation and excitement from all Window Genie partners. This initiative will further the Window Genie culture that focuses on community citizenship, something we have always stood for.” His feeling that there would be participation and enthusiasm among franchise owners proved to be true. In the five months Windows 4 Windows has been in place, 15 owners have participated in giving back in various ways in their communities. These owners have given back through each of the four ways described above to a number of organizations including those aimed to help the homeless, victims of domestic abuse, wounded soldiers, the elderly and children. As the busy season begins to wind-down, there is much anticipation for an increase in participation moving forward.

The facilitators of the program are Joan Cansler, Director of Charity, and Erin McDermott, Communications Assistant with Window Genie corporate. Their role is to assist and offer guidance to franchisees when giving back to a charity, organization or group.
