Taft Partner Jennifer Hann Harrison Selected for Leadership Dayton Program

June 14, 2012 // Franchising.com // DAYTON, OHIO – Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP is pleased to announce that Jennifer Hann Harrison, an attorney in the firm’s Labor and Employment and Workers’ Compensation practice groups, has been selected to participate in the 2013 Class of Leadership Dayton. More than 1,000 people have completed the program since its inception in 1976, and approximately 60-70% of the members are still active in the Dayton community. Program participants will gain an in-depth knowledge of the community, including its history, strengths and challenges, and people. They will meet many community leaders and discover ways they can influence the decision-making process.

Harrison represents management in a variety of employment-related matters, including investigating and defending VSSR’s, employer intentional torts, and claims of retaliatory discharge. An experienced litigator, she has defended numerous cases to jury trial. Harrison frequently speaks on workers’ compensation and employment topics. She is a member of the Dayton Bar Association, and serves on the Certified Grievance Committee, having previously chaired the Committee for a two-year term. She chairs the Dayton Chamber of Commerce’s Legislative and Regulatory Affairs Committee and served on a Senate task force that was convened in 2009 to study privatization of the Ohio Workers’ Compensation System. Harrison received her undergraduate degree from West Chester University and her law degree from The Dickinson School of Law.
